CONSIGNMENT FAQ's

I am an artist, and I'm interested in consignment with my bonnie & clyde...Why should I sign up?

We do all the work, so you don't have to! You don't have to worry about setting up your own company, website, merchant account, advertising, etc. You don't have to figure out taxes, fees, shipping, and so on. This gives you the freedom to concentrate on making the art, not distributing it!

What are the fees for consignment?

There is no fee for simply consigning with my bonnie & clyde. We charge a 40% fee for each item SOLD. This means, the artist recieves 60% of the price the item sells for. If an item does not sell, there is no charge or fee whatsoever. It's a win-win situation! For all music to be included in our music shop, the consignment fee is only 20%.

Why do you take 40%?

The percentage earned helps pay for web-hosting fees, advertising costs, shipping costs, merchant fees, PayPal© fees, and so on, and so on.

Are there registration fees?

NO WAY, JOSE! Again, a percentage is only charged if an item sells.

So, if I sign up, does my artwork become property of my bonnie & clyde?

No. All art stays the sole property of the artist until the time of purchase.

What if I decide I don't want one of my items on the website for sale any longer?

That is totally up to the artist. Until an item sells, it is your property, and you have the right to do anything you'd like with your property.

Sounds great! So, how do I get started?

Email us, and we'll send you all the instructions and paperwork. We'll need to see digital photographs of your items that you would like to submit for consignment. Once approved, you'll be added to my bonnie & clyde!
