Designing her own clothes since she was 12, Ali Maclean's taste is highly influenced by her weekly chilhood jaunts to auctions
and antique stores, as well as current jaunts to music shows. After wearing her own designs to music festivals such as Coachella, SxSW, and CMJ, Ali was
requested to make clothes for some musician friends to wear onstage. Thus, Rock-n-Role was born.
She descibes her collections as 'Merchant Ivory meets Metallica'. Some Rock-n-Role stars she has designed for
include : Bloc Party, Fiona Apple, Liz Phair, The Used, Sum 41, Morningwood, Avril Lavigne, The Prix, STUN, Peaches, and
a growing list of cool, sexy characters.
