ARTIST BIO

A group of 5 guys all descending from the small town of Sulpher, Louisiana, Paper Plains is made up of Eric Daigle, Corey Sanford, Scott Williamson, Derrick Suarez, and Garrett Shook.

Each with their own experience in music, these young men recently formed a groundbreaking group, Paper Plains. Each one of them were involved in bands throughout their individual high school careers, however not as a collective group. Eventually finding each other, the fivesome (sans Derrick who was away at college) sat down and began writing music together. With an integral group member away at school, the other four would work on a song base, as Derrick wrote his keyboard parts from afar. Getting together over school breaks and weekends, the group would manage to complete and perfect their songs.

Following Derrick's graduation, the group was finally able to live in the same vicinity, and thus, Paper Plains was born. Playing their first gig on New Year's Eve 2006, the band made it official, and have been rapidly gaining ground ever since.

Approaching their one year anniversary, Paper Plains is very optimistic about their future, as are we.
